Dea

Back

Hailing from a distinguished Croatian musical lineage, Dea's artistic journey has been deeply rooted in the fabric of her upbringing. From the early years, music served as an intrinsic part of her life, shaping her identity as a classically trained instrumentalist, vocalist, and ballet dancer. Despite being immersed in a family environment that prized musical tradition, Dea felt a compelling need to diverge from the expected path. This led her to pursue a degree in Geopolitics while actively participating in the burgeoning club scene in Croatia's capital as a member of various collectives. In 2011, after completing her studies, she made a pivotal move to Ibiza, ostensibly for love. However, it was there that her passion for music was reignited. This marked the beginning of her journey into the realm of electronic music, evolving into an avid record collector and honing her skills as a DJ. Relocating to Ljubljana in 2015, Dea continued her artistic development as part of the LuckIsOn collective. The turning point came in January 2018 when she made her global debut with a mix for Nicolas Lutz's My Own Jupiter. Recognized as the mix of the day by Resident Advisor, this milestone was followed by the release of her first EP on Cabaret Recordings alongside Enrica Falqui under the moniker ERIS. Subsequently, she moved to Berlin to fully dedicate herself to her musical endeavors. With a wealth of inspiration drawn from more than two decades of clubbing and an innate sense of rhythm and harmony, Dea's sets are captivating journeys that transcend genres while maintaining a distinctive and unmistakable signature.
